Freyja is a Nordic Goddess of sexuality and fertility, celebration and power. She is the Queen of the Valkyries and gives her name to Friday. She rides in a chariot pulled by two cats across the rainbow bridge that connects heaven and earth.
Freyja comes to us on her name day to urge us to celebrate all that is good in our lives, no matter how small. She reminds us that if we focus on what is good it will grow in power and size to become something wonderful! Be bold today. You are a wonderful, beautiful and powerful person who has every right to be happy, full of desire and passion. Friday is not the day to hide under a bushel.
